Bring materials which you are accustomed to using, as well as the following:
- 2H Pencil
- A good quality eraser that does not abrade the surface of the paper (such as Mars)
- Two 16 oz. plastic or glass jars
- White watercolor palette
- Eyedropper
- Bottle of Masking fluid
The following brushes are required:
- Silver Kolinsky 7220 Round size 8
- Winsor Newton Sceptre Gold round size 8 or another brand of Kolinsky sable size 8 Kolinsky sable
- Round size 6 (Raphael series 8404 is preferred)
The following paint is required (listed in order of preference and brand can be Winsor Newton or Cotman):
- Cadmium Yellow light or Cadmium Yellow pale
- Cadmium Yellow
- Yellow Ochre
- Quinacridone Red, Cadmium Red or Winsor Red
- Permanent Sap Green
- Burnt Umber
- Lamp Black
- Ultramarine Blue (finest)
- Cobalt Blue
- Permanent Alizarin Crimson
- Hookers Green dark
- Thalo Green
- Cadmium Orange
- Burnt Sienna
- Quinacridone Gold
- Cerulean Blue
